Blessings of your Lord that cannot be denied!
Prophet Moses (PBUH) once asked Allah (SWT)
"If a person asks for
one of your blessings, what will he ask for?"
Allah (SWT) said.
'' Health''.
I was dumbfounded with
this revelation that how important the health is for a person.
Health is truly a great
gift from Allah and He has created everything that could help us maintain our
health.
Let’s have a glimpse, how
each one of us is endowed with the special bounties that we often take for
granted.
There are systems in our
body that amaze the mind when we think about them
Do you
know that we all are born with four and a half thousand diseases.
These diseases are active
all the time, but our body’s immune system keep controlling their death and
destruction.
When we take a deep breath. The germs get killed and we are
saved from these germs.
If we look at the composition of our heart and
how well this is articulated with our entire body, we realize that the world's
first bypass was done in May 1960, but Allah has placed the channel used in
this bypass millions of years ago in our leg.
Another example is the natural place for the third kidney
in our body. So, when the kidney transplantation started on June 17, 1950, Surgeons
were surprised to see this.
An example such
blessings is the articulation of bones. If we look at the bones of Our ribs
which are composed of some very small bones which were always considered redundant. However, today it has
been revealed that there are few children born in the world who have clavicles. When
the surgeons analyzed the ribs and spare rib bones of these children, it was
found that these spareribs and the rib bones are the same, so the surgeons cut
the small ribs and fit them in the throat and thus these disabled children
Lived a normal life.
Our liver is
the only organ in the body that regenerates after being cut.
Scientists were surprised why nature kept this ability in the liver. Today it
was found that the liver is the noblest organ. Life
is not possible without it and because of this ability it can be transplanted.
You can donate a liver to others.
These are some of the miracles of nature that amaze the human
mind while thousands of such miracles are hidden in our body and are yet to be
explored but they are there to keep us healthy.
Health is one of the few blessings in the world that we
don't appreciate as long as it lasts but
As soon as it leaves us.
We immediately realized that it was more precious than all
our other blessings.
If one day we sat down at the table and measured the health
from the head to toes, we would find that there are people who cannot raise
their eyelids and their eyes remain close they are ready to spend millions of
dollars just to lift their eyes and how easily most of us do it.
Our ears contain a liquid
similar to the tears of a pigeon, a mercury-like liquid, which makes us walk
straight and helps us maintain the balance. If it is lost, we cannot determine
the direction. We start tangling and bumping into moving objects.
There are People who lack
such ability and are ready to pay millions of dollars for this drop of tears.
People are ready to pay in
millions for a healthy kidney, for the eye corneas to get rid of diabetes and a
healthy heart.
If salt accumulates in the
joints of the fingers, a person starts praying for death.
Constipation and
hemorrhoids have killed millions of people. Tooth and molar pain make nights
restless/Headaches are driving thousands of people crazy.
Our health is a special
blessing of Allah Almighty, but we people desecrate this blessing every day.
We do not thank Allah
Almighty for this great kindness.
We wake up from our bed
every day.
We eat what we want, and it
gets digested.
We can walk straight, can
run, can bend.
And Our heart, brain, liver and kidneys are working properly.
We can see the beauty of
this universe with our eyes, can listen with your ears, touch with our hands, smell
through the nose, and can taste with the tongue in our mouth.
All this is because Allah’s
special favor. He owes His grace And
We should thank our Allah
for this great kindness for
Health is a blessing that
if taken away, we cannot take it back even by spending the treasures of the
whole world.
Oh God, thank you so much
for Everything.
And one pertinent question
to be asked to those who live in denial and renounce His very existence.
Which of the blessings of your Lord would you deny?
