How Bilal R.A was Welcomed.
Hazrat Bilal came to meet Haz. Umar.(R.A).When Hz Bilal (R.A) entered the door, Hz Umer left the chair, tied his hands and stood in the corner.
The cronies were curious to know who is coming that made Umer to have this welcome.
They were surprised that he is Bilal (R.A),a moor, who did not know how to write names. Hazrat Bilal came and said, ``Ameerul Momineen, what are you doing?''
Umar grabbed him by his arms and made him sit on his chair. Hazrat Bilal said, ``I am just a .slave,a son of a slave ,who don't know how to act in the court of the kings."
" Hazrat Umar said, "Bilal was a slave, but since you became a slave of the Prophet ,(peace be upon him,) you have become our imam, the leader. Now you are the imam of the ummah of the Messenger of Allah."
He said, "I remember the day when Makkah was conquered,the idols were broken, there were many leaders, but my Prophet, peace be upon him, said, chose Bilal, may God be pleased with him, to climb on the roof of the Kaaba and give the call to prayer.
If Bilal is beaten at Badr and recites the Adhan .If stones pelted on him in Uhud, but Bilal recites the Adhan.
The world has witnessed,Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talha, and Zayber, have witnessed that today this Abyssinian slave will be freed and calling people towards Allah from the roof top of the Kaaba,
Today I will tell the world that honor belongs to the slave of the prophet pbuh who never showed cowardice but remained steadfast throughout.And he is Bilal who deserves to be honoured this way.
